USFL Approves Richard “POPs” Miller New Michigan Diector of Youth Pankration MMA!

March 23, 2023 Uncategorized 0

Michigan Youth MMA is proud to officially announce the Richard “POPs” Miller is the Provisional Director of Youth Pankration MMA for the USFL (US Fight League) in the State of Michigan. This was a lifetime’s dream, to bring to Youth MMA, what USA Boxing brought to boxing. Today Pops took another giant leap towards that dream.

Pops started wrestling and boxing at the young age of 10 and found he loved the combat arts. Over the years he also discovered he was pretty good and teaching what he had learned. He decided at that time to begin teaching troubled kids. Kids, who for one reason or another wound up with the wrong friends at the wrong time and deserved another chance. For the last several decades that’s exactly what he did.

He trained and promoted his crew of young fighters for the Golden Gloves, and dozens upon dozens of cage fights. Some of these fighters he worked with over the years are now in the UFC, Bellator and other major Fight Promotions. He knows he is not the reason these kids went on to become great fighters. But knowing he had a part in that persons life, no mater how small is what motivates Pops to want to keep it going with the next generation.

This is his faith and dedication to these young up and coming fighters paying off. Pops is a very humble man at heart and would never publicly seek out his own personal fame or brag “Look at me! Look at me!” Even though in this case he has every right to brag a bit about the honor and trust the USFL has bestowed on him. So knowing he wont… we here at Michigan Youth MMA, had to.

Please everyone, join us as we congratulate Richard “ Pops” Miller,

Michigan’s New Youth Pankration MMA Director for the USFL.

CONGRATULATION POPS!!!
